Zoey Deutch and Dylan O'Brien Parody Influencer Culture in 'Not Okay' Trailer

The Internet culture satire, from writer-director Quinn Shephard, stars Zoey Deutch and Dylan O'Brien in their second collaboration together, after having starred together in the mobster film The Outfit earlier this year. Deutch plays Danni Sanders, an aspiring writer with no friends, no romantic prospects and — worst of all — no followers.

In order to gain clout, Danni fakes a trip to Paris, Photoshopping pictures of herself eating baguettes and posing at the Eiffel Tower and posting them on Instagram. But when her social media scheme coincides with a real terrorist attack, Danni emerges a hero, striking up a friendship with an activist (Mia Isaac) and finally getting the attention of her dream man (O'Brien). But she can't avoid a social media takedown for long.

"Have you ever wanted to be noticed so badly, you didn't even care what it was for?" Danni asks viewers, before breaking to fourth wall to tell us: "Be careful what you f**king wish for."
