In Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, Spider-People from across the multiverse suddenly arrived in the universe of Miles Morales. In the upcoming sequel, Across the Spider-Verse, he will return the favor — traveling the multiverse and encountering even more Spider-People along the way, with the fate of all of their universes on his Spidey shoulders.

Shameik Moore once again lends his voice to Brooklyn's friendly neighborhood Spider-Man, with Hailee Steinfeld as Gwen Stacy aka Ghost-Spider, and Jake Johnson as Peter B. Parker. Across the Spider-Verse introduces Miguel O'Hara aka Spider-Man 2099 (voiced by Oscar Isaac), Jessica Drew aka Spider-Woman (Issa Rae), and Hobart "Hobie" Brown aka Spider-Punk (Daniel Kaluuya), among more members of the Spider-Force, with Jason Schwartzman as the villainous The Spot.

Into the Spider-Verse won the Oscar for Best Animated Feature Film in 2019. The follow-up has a new directing team in Joaquim Dos Santos, Kemp Powers, and Justin K. Thompson, working from a script by Phil Lord, Christopher Miller and Dave Callaham.

Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse swings into theaters on June 2, with the threequel, Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse, to follow on March 29, 2024. Watch the trailer for the former below.
