If it's an honor just to be nominated, Kenneth Branagh has made Oscars' history as the most well-rounded honoree. With a total of eight career nominations, the 61-year-old multi-hyphenate has received at least one nomination in seven different categories.

Tuesday's 94th Oscars nominations netted three nominations for Branagh for his work on Belfast, earning him nominations for Best Director, Best Original Screenplay and Best Picture.

The latest nominations come over 30 years after Branagh was first Oscar-nominated at the 62nd Academy Awards, for Best Actor in a Leading Role and Best Director for Henry V.

Here is every category in which Branagh has been nominated in his career:

Best Picture: Belfast (2021), the semi-autobiographical drama, which Branagh produced with Laura Berwick, Becca Kovacik and Tamar Thomas.

Best Director: Belfast (2021) marks Branagh's second directing nomination, arriving more than three decades after he was up for Henry V (1989).

Best Actor in a Leading Role: Henry V (1989), in which Branagh assumed the titular role in this Shakespearean adaptation.

Best Actor in a Supporting Role: My Week With Marilyn (2011), in which Branagh played Sir Laurence Olivier to Michelle Williams' Marilyn Monroe.

Best Adapted Screenplay: Hamlet (1996), in which Branagh played Prince Hamlet of Denmark in yet another Shakespearean adaptation.

Best Original Screenplay: Belfast (2021), which is the second time that an original screenplay written by Branagh has been produced, following A Midwinter’s Tale (1995).

Best Short Film, Live Action: Swan Song (1993), a short adaptation of an Anton Chekhov one-act play directed by Branagh, and starring Oscar-winner Sir John Gielgud.

Branagh takes the title from previous individual record-holder George Clooney, who has been nominated in six different categories (Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actor in a Leading Role, Best Actor in a Supporting Role, Best Adapted Screenplay and Best Original Screenplay).

To find out whether this year will mark Branagh's first-ever Oscar win, tune into the 94th Oscars on Sunday, March 27, starting at 5 p.m. PT/8 p.m. ET and televised live on ABC.
