This is an ending 45 years in the making.
Halloween Ends marks Jamie Lee Curtis' final turn as the ultimate final girl, Laurie Strode, as she makes one last stand against masked serial killer Michael Myers. The movie is set four years after the events of Halloween Kills, as Laurie attempts to put her bloody history with Haddonfield's resident slasher behind her and finish writing her memoir.
But of course, Michael Myers always returns. And this time, only one of them will make it out alive. "Come get me, motherf—ker" Curtis' Laurie says in what is sure to be the most-quoted line from the trailer.
Halloween Ends marks Curtis' seventh — and final — turn as Laurie, a role she first played more than four decades ago in John Carpenter's 1978 Halloween. She's joined by Andi Matichak, reprising her role as Laurie's granddaughter Allyson, Will Patton as Officer Frank Hawkins, Kyle Richards as Lindsey Wallace, and James Jude Courtney as The Shape.

The threequel also concludes director David Gordon Green's trilogy, which began with 2018's Halloween and continued with 2021's Halloween Kills. Paul Brad Logan, Chris Bernier, Danny McBride and Green wrote the script for this final chapter, which hails from Universal Pictures, Miramax and Blumhouse.
Halloween Ends hits theaters on Oct. 14 and will also be available to stream on Peacock the same day, as Curtis announced in a video dubbed "A message from Laurie Strode." "There are people who want to go to the theater and scream their guts out, and other people who want to stay at home and scream their guts out," she says.
