John Cho is putting the drama in dramedy in Don't Make Me Go, in which he plays a single dad who takes his reluctant teenage daughter on a cross-country road trip after discovering he has a terminal disease.

Hoping to cram a lifetime of love and support into a single summer, Cho's Max hits the road with Wally (Mia Isaac) on a trip from California to New Orleans for his college reunion, where he secretly hopes to reunite his daughter with the mother who abandoned them years prior. Along the way, there will be plenty of laughter, tears and karaoke.

Don't Make Me Go hails from After Everything and Mark, Mary & Some Other People director Hannah Marks from a screenplay by This Is Us scribe Vera Herbert. The movie premieres during this year's Tribeca Film Festival before streaming on Prime Video on July 15.
